No, I wouldn't call her my idol, because I wouldn't go to the extreme to chase after her, or attend her glamour grace in charities or shows, yet she is one of the person I admire most.

Want to know what she have & I do or don't read on!

Being a famous celebrity, there must be many haters as well as supporters. I must say she stays neutral to me when she first crafted her career (she reminds me of the tv series she acted with {thomas ong = my then 'idol'}), until she caught my attention in a movie she acted called '真心话' The Truth About Jane & Sam.

It's a far cry from what she usually is/act on the tv screen, d' always gentle, sweet & demure her played a role of a rebellious and depraved girl.

Last year, another popular movie in 'Just Follow Law' has proven that she is an actress that can portray a lead role very well & needless to say her appearance in the latest movie of 'Ah long Pte Ltd' (Similar to the Korean flick 'My wife is a gangster') has once again justified her skill as a professional actress.

For all these, any other movie that she is going to be in, is not gonna go without my support. Her latest upcoming one would be Dance of the Dragon 《龙之舞》, release date in Singapore on 1st may 2008.

I hate to be a copycat & always have my own style of interpreting things, but it so happens that I really like some of the stuff that Miss Fann Wong/going to be Mrs Christopher Lee likes except I still do not have the ability to acquire those stuffs so swiftly yet.

My Dream lists:

1) Beautiful Bathtub in a Beautiful Condo/Semi-D like Fann's, soaking up for an hour each day.

2) The cars:
Mercedes SLK/Porsche Cayenne

3) The brand Hermes

4) The watch Jacob & co.

5) The fair complexion

Reviewing from street survey, many guys actually confessed that they get pretty turnoff by women's unshaven armpit.

I know that some guys or even girls actually have a habit of accidentally looking into the path of armpit areas of those sleeveless top ladies, whenever they have the slightest itsy bitsy hand/arm movement, especially if they rises her arm(s) up.

Actually I like to post pics on my every post, but for this particular post, I find it rather hard to process, not b'cos I can't find the pics of armpits, but I just don't feel like grossing d' audience out, especially if you have not taken your dinner. You want an example, ok you may see here or here. (But I advise better don't antagonize your appetite later on.)

If you want to see bushy arms, then you may like to watch the movie "LUST CAUTION" (an erotic espionage thriller by tony leung & female lead tang wei) According to mag's report, tang wei had purposely grown those armpit hairs to suit the feel for old Shanghai scene.

But still, many xxxx don't shave!

I have seen some who's clad in nice skimpy clothes, pretty face, yet their armpit hair is long. & from my observation, out of 100%, 100% never shave. I haven't met the odd one out yet.(mistake) 90% didn't shave (d' 10% belongs to d' younger crowd) ( It is one of their distinguishing features)

How unconventional & uninteresting to blog 2 complaints straight in a row. (oh, b'cos it's to curb me from complaining thru' d' whole of next week, which is a good thing, (no actually this part is just joking la* =D) & also b'cos it's in d' news last 2 nights ago.)

Those who drive & park near d' H.V. food centre & restaurants will notice that recently there's a private valet service operating down there.

Purple Valet Service: charge $8 per car for valet service, free for some restaurant diners.

Convenience:
Instead of searching for carpark lots in d' densely cram parking area to suffice d' hungry customers or swarm of weekend party crowd, customers can just sashay to their favourite dining place after dropping the keys to d' valet. (NO WAITING NEEDED)

Inconvenience:
1) a small little jam upon arrival d at' carpark.

2) Customer who does not employ the service of the valet had a hard time finding parking lots. (& the matter is made worse by valet ppl snatching d' car lots with other drivers.)

3) The valet boy/men is quick to occupy whatever available parking lots that they can detect, with multiple men spreading sparsely over d' carpark by signalling to d' next valet's car (waiting to be park) on a newly emptied lot.

OR when one of d' valet's customer car are about to shift out of it's lot. I'll explain this part further in details.

Few weeks ago, I remember vividly it's on the night of 6th April, I was going to d' coffeeshop to eat d' stingray w/ Okra aka lady's fingers (this is the name of a vegetable, not real finger).

So I was in the van waiting for any available lots to come by, keeping my hazzle lights on.



To my delight, after abt 5-10 mins wait, one of the valet's car started to move away. And I was preparing to shift into the lot any moment. (But, before Valet car A shifts away, it waited for Valet car B to be posture-ready & get set first.)



So, once Valet car A shifts out of its lot, Valet car B immediately shifts into that designated lot.
I'm not slow in snatching that lot, but they are all ready, B car just need to slightly reverse a bit to get into that lot. When I'm trying to reverse, B was in.



So how I react, I'm not sitting by and cross my hand to wait for another chance. So I 'go stun' (reverse ~ pronounciating in hokkien/malay) moving d' vehicle right beside his, & window side by side & talk in a harsh tone.

I said: Can't you see I'm waiting down here for the parking lot?

He replied: I don't know you are waiting.

I said: I put on my hazzle lights, and you don't know I'm waiting. Are you right or not? I came first & is waiting here. You all signal to each other, and once the car (A) moves out, you shift in (B).

He said: Shift out ok lah, why talk like that, can talk nicely.

(Upon hearing this, I felt abit guilty for speaking in this manner. But somehow, if you were to argue with another person over car parking or knocking (accident) issue, you have to sound louder if you are right, otherwise you'll be intimidated by the other person and eventually gives in to them, which is not right. Of cos, this method usually works, ONLY IF YOU ARE RIGHT (not ridiculous/unreasonable), then your explanation will triumphant over the person's word.

Still, I said thanks to him, although admitting that it doesn't sound too willingly.

So, Car B shifts out...

Then I went happily for pre-b'day dinner celebration.

Sinful pre-dinner Snack

Pre-dinner snack @ 6.30pm. 1st time finish d' whole box of cheese fries by myself. I haven't had kfc in quite a while already.

Hmmm...so fulfillng & tasty. (I need at least 4 packets of chillies for a wing & d' fries)
Each pack of chilli cost $0.03, abt many years ago... when i was working in kfc at age 14...when i had many suitors then...when i had no pimples....& when....that was when....i was childish......& barbarian.....

Oh, full from eating, but don't daydream & broad on d' past again. Just wanna wish everybody a HAPPY WEEKEND! YAY!

Irresponsible Act of Nokia Service Centre

This post is written on the spur of my infuriating & frustrating reaction:
(this complain is lengthy, just like d' process itself)

To be fair to Nokia Service Centre, I will only highlight d' area (in blue) where I find intolerable disappointment and irresponsible action.

My post of complaint goes like this:

This Nokia N82 was purchased on 2nd of Feb 2008. I must say it was working well other than d' phone hangs at times which is understandable as electronic/digital stuff will go 'berserk' when there's too much memory in it or when d' software is somehow corrupted by itself.

Most of d' songs sounded soft comparing with others, I believed that it's still alright cos' some music file is in different format or it could be once again due to d' software problem from rapid development.

Until one day in March, for d' 1st time I try using d' front camera, it's not functioning (unexpected error occurred). So, this means that it's time to bring hp for repair & IT COULD ALSO PROBABLY MEAN: from d' newly bought set ----> this problem is already born with it.

Anyway, that's what warranties are for.

The Repair

D' N82 & a sirocco was brought to Nokia Service Centre at Wheelock for servicing on March 19 at 13:17 and is due to be ready for collection 2 days later on March 21 at 2pm. (d' sirocco was ready for collection on time.)





The Notice

On d' same day, Nokia Care called in d' afternoon to inform that d' N82 will not be ready for collection so soon and was sent to HQ for repair and awaiting for the replacement parts & they will inform me once it's ready.

Ok, I said (agreeing to the wait), then asking roughly when the hp will be ready for collection?

The reply was: About 1 week's time. (They will call me.)

Ok.

Then I thought I might be away sometime soon in a week, so hopefully I'll be able to collect my handphone in exactly one week's time.

SO, I called up Nokia on the same day:

THE REQUEST

I said that I had just booked in the handphone on that same day, and if they could check for me if I'm able to collect my handphone in a week's time cos' I'll not be around soon.
&
If it takes too long, I'll take back the handphone 1st and wait for the parts and come back for repair again.

The reply: They will let the service side know cos' the hp just booked in & they are unable to check it for me.

I asked if they could ask the technical side to call me so that we can arrange to see if I need to take back my hp 1st or put there for repair.

THE 1st PROMISE

The reply: Yes, they will put that to note and get someone to call me.

Few days later...

(STILL NO CALL FROM ANYONE)

Obviously I rung up Nokia again:

I asked when will d' handphone be ready cos' d' person still haven't called me yet? I need to know & I'm rushing for time, so I requested to call up d' technical side and speak to them personally, of cos' there was no way, SO...

THE 2st PROMISE

I was a bit annoyed from d' panic wait & demanded an answer that I've been waiting since NO ONE called me.

So, the guy who spoke to me said: I PROMISE! not only once, I think 2 or 3 times 'PROMISE' to get someone to call me before our conversation ended.

(THE PROMISE NEVER ARRIVE)

SOME FEW DAYS LATER, I can't remember when, but I think almost a week, I CALLED UP NOKIA AGAIN.

The handphone is OBVIOUSLY not ready yet, & NO ONE CALLED ME!!!!
But I was cool-headed B'COS I'M NOT RUSHED ANYMORE, SO I told them it's alright since my handphone is still not ready, I'll collect the handphone next week, no problem.

ONE WEEK LATER:

Guess what?

I CALLED NOKIA AGAIN.

Asking when my handphone will b ready? Then they said NOT READY yet. You know how angry I am at this point of time?

AT LEAST TAKE D' RESPONSIBLITY TO CALL ME & TAKE BACK D' HP WHILE WAITING FOR D' PARTS AT D' SAME TIME, WHAT IS SO DIFFICULT? (Given d' fact that I have already called up so many times to request, isn't it enough to stop this horrid?

& THE HANDPHONE IS NOT DONE YET!!! Got 2 parts, front part & back part of board replacement have to wait.

What is this?

(I could have taken d' phone & wait ~ good for you, good for me, I dun mind a 2nd trip anyway since its my request)

I said: Y don't u all take the responsibility to call me but let me wait instead, what is so difficult? I don't want any apology, all I want is just action!, I only want to take back the hp, that's all. BUT y nobody call?

Everytime I called Nokia Service Hotline and told them stuff like that, they will only apologize. It's not their fault I know, but it also wouldn't appease people, given the fact that they are irresponsible for no phone calls made AS PROMISE to keep customers updated.

Sometime in d' conversation I would request for d' hp to be sent to my home/request for a new one/....{Nokia: there's no such policy - like Adrain Chew's case} always until d' end I submitted to waiting & ended d' conversation.

I must say the purpose of this section of call is specially served to: Handle customer's complaint & shoo away the words of whatever customer says.

GOOD GATEKEEPING STRATEGIES! we will never get management/manager/whosoever to handle our requests/complaints. The section of repair status hotline seems not very linked to d' technical side.

ALL WE HAVE TO DO once we have sent in d' hp for repair is WAIT, it's should be rightfully this way, but i only mentioned that it is so irresponsible COS THEY PROMISE ME MANY TIMES TO CALL ME BUT NO ONE CALLS, I FELT CHEATED when I accomodate their words naively & happily wait until unhappy.

Come to think of d' scenario (it could be like this):

D' hp might be left untouched sitting in d' warehouse/HQ/desk/drawer/whatever for the past few weeks, while I could be using it for that FEW weeks. (& things could be happily resolved)

I demanded an exact date as to when d' hp is ready, no matter how hard I tried or request for a call to HQ, it's to no avail.

At this point, what props up in my mind is only inferior service and irresponsibility.

THEY WILL NEVER NEVER LET ME KNOW WHEN D' HP WILL BE READY, saying they will let me know once it's ready & put it to note, Me & d' service staff keeps repeating d' same response to each other.

THE NOTE

Everytime they say will put to note ~ it makes people really really frustrated. Tat only mean; it seems their way of communicating is through email?/intranet?/courier? I really dunno.

I admit I make a nasty request by demanding d' hp (must be repaired) to be ready for collection at wheelock the next day at 11am, but that's b'cos I've waited long, & d' promise to call never come. The person said no promises, but will note that down.

THE NEXT DAY...

I called NOKIA before wasting my trip down to wheelock, it was what I expected, d' hp is still not ready. Angry, angry, angry...

Then talk to d' person & runs through a conversation quite similarly like all d' previous ones again. (Got response like no response, waste my time*)

FEW DAYS LATER...

I called again, u may have find me irritating or nasty or demanding or whatever & tat's b'cos NO ONE CALLED ME, I WAS WAITING & WAITING & KEPT WAITING FOR NOKIA TO CALL ME! Speaking of so many promises & notes given.

This time I asked again d' same thing & I also received d' same reply as usual again. I said I want action & I'm not complaining to receive apology, I JUST WANT D' HP BACK & that's all!

Whatever I said is like passing by cloud/muted. I gave up. I TOTALLY GAVE UP!

So, in d' end I said:

Since u all always like to communicate by putting notes. Then u put a note down saying I'm gonna put this issue in d' news. ( IRRESPONSIBLE)

They actually said yes, they will note it. (I wondered: will they?)

12 months of warranty, the repair already takes up one month.

The Finale

Finally, they call me (Gladfully I said: so my hp is ready?) on April 11 informing me that one of d' parts is replaced. The phone will be ready in a week's time after d' fixing d' 2nd part. Very calmly & glad, I replied ok.

One week later, on 19th - 22/23th, they've taken d' effort to call me 6 times for d' collection but unable to reach me & even have courier sent to my place, which nobody is ard.

I called up yesterday 23/4, checking for d' repair status & they've replied it's ready & d' phone is at Wheelock.

Today 24/4 , i went to Nokia but d' phone is not there. They say it's mistake made. I requested d' hp to be collected today, even if it's at HQ/warehouse (they said only got stockboys) i've waited for so long, i don't want to wait anymore, keep sparing time & effort on this issue.

I believed they can keep in touch with d' HQ, otherwise how to courier. It's weird! I offered to go down & collect d' hp but was refused. I read this article (a case won against nokia through small claim tribunals over a new contracted $388 hp) & d' person was able to go down to HQ.

Eventually, again submissive by d' words of promise that they will call me by today, worrying that they would fall back on their words, i requested d' mister at d' counter to write today's date & sign off as proof of promise for d' call to be made, (For this effort made, at least I'm thankful compared to d' past experiences) which they did, calling me at 1 plus pm for d' arrangement of delivery of d' hp.

I think if you wanna talk to the right person, the service center itself can be of much help than calling d' careline. Anyway, d' matter is almost resolved & I'll be waiting for d' phone to be sent.

Oh ya' they promise an extension of warranty for me (for d' sacrifice of 1 month's waiting dispensed from d' 12 months warranty)

Damages:

Parking coupons spent $1-$1.50 ~ nothing

Many calls made to Nokia ($x)~ nothing

Taking time off my work planning my trip down to repair & collect (time =$) ~ Valuable

Waiting for 1 month w/o hp with umpteens effort made ~ Already requested since Day 1, Indescribable!

I can't remember how many calls I made in total to Nokia, that should b abt all. The survey at the end of each call ~ I'm really not sure how to take d' survey, so i leave it blank by "cup*(hangs up; pronounciation in hokkien)-ping" my phone.

I wouldn't say Nokia S.C. service is bad, but to a certain degree of expectations, it surely brings impact of disappointment in its irresponsible act, not me but several people do complain on d' after sales service too.

All I request is to take back d' hp & wait, wait, wait, y.y..y.yy....y.....no reply?....until u're all ready!

RECIPE OF FRESH LIVE PRAWNS

Try these fresh live prawns instead. Cheap at $9.80 per kg. The quantity in the pic below is about $3.00. (See: so many prawns)

Somehow d' prawns look a bit pinkish red, i guess that's the colour of FRESH.

To prove that it's fresh & alive:

My speaking hokkien parts & d' jumping prawn (did u hear what i say?):

1) After washing the prawns, sprinkle some salt over it.

2) Put the plate of prawns over boiling water & quickly cover up the wok's lid. (The prawn will jump)

3) When the prawn jumping sound stop, immediately open up the lid, and pick up those few that accidentally drop into the boiling water. (those that is in the boiling water should be cooked already=====>now, u can steal that few pieces & eat 1st)

4) (Steaming prawns will take a longer time than frying prawns to be cooked.)

Once you see that the prawn has turn red, haul up immediately for freshness guaranteed.

(Prawns that are overcook -> meat is harder & taste is lost,

Good tasting prawns should be lightly chewy, not too soft or hard when bite, and can taste its freshness)

If like red wine, you can dip the freshly cooked prawn into it, & savour d' prawn at your mercy.

D' 10 min simple recipe ~ Mee Sua

This is a delicious simple recipe. Even if you dunno how to cook, u'll still be able to get it right.

Ingredients:
Water,
Egg (beaten & added with a tad of salt/light soy sauce),
Shrimp/Ikan Bilis,
Mee Sua (Flour Vermicelli), or
veg (Cai Sim or Brocolli),
Ajinomoto

Condiments: Pepper, Chilli, Deep fried Onion

The proportion is to your liking, except that water must be a lot more to make it soupy, otherwise, the flour vermicelli will absorb d' water & thicken. (So, u 'agar agar', ok.)

Ps: My illustration below is cooking for more than 10 pax portions, so don't follow me and add so much water if you are cooking for a few people only.

Updates:
* A plate of 30 eggs ~ $4.xx
* Shrimp 1 kg ~ $2x.xx
* Mee Sua 1 kg ~ $4.xx-$5
or 1 packet (like the pic below) $12



1) First, fry the egg and put one side.
2) Then, fry the shrimp/ikan bilis till smell nice (abt 1 min)
3) Add water.

This is what you get.



4) When the water boils, add mee sua, then veg (if any) and a tinge of ajinomoto & cook for appx. 6-8mins.


5) Add pepper and onions, or chilli/parsley to your preference.



Delicious food (must served HOT!) is ready to be served.
U will think u are a genius for cooking if you are an amateur.

Today is an important day for families, & rest day for Bangalore and Filipinos. It is also the busiest day of the week for my work.

Kids are clothe with swimwear & equipped with swimming board to d' beaches / big pool they've been looking forward to, morning is filled with chuckles of merry laughters at d' playground.

Big people (adult) goes to churches and temples for prayer, & Soka members goes to activites.

Hi-tea, bizzare, shopping, exhibitions, picnic are not missed.

My start of day:

I awaken from d' evil dreams at 7am from my 2am late nite's sleep. I couldn't even manage to steal another bit of sleep after that.

Scenario 1 (1st part was short): Elated from a short-lived pleasant reunion with friends in a home & seeing a friend from abroad, I jumped with joy. Then, I went in the lift to go downstairs & (i can't remember) to buy or collect something. Then...

Scenario 2 (2nd part): ...when i got downstairs, some crazy fella cut my hand with a knife (x many times), but weird ~ it didn't bleed, just scary & painful. After this...

Scenario 3 (still 2nd part seems very long)...i was fleeing from the madman throughout. So scared that he will continue cutting me. When he got near me, I ran for help or to where there's people. After that, he'll disappeared. Sometime later he came near & i flee again. The whole thing keeps repeating & repeating & repeating...& repe...t.. UNTIL

Scenario 4 (last part): I'm safe from the people, but screaming aloud in my heart, I became crazy & very frightened (fr. those simultaneous fleeing), sitting on the floor with my hands across my legs and my head buried in my arms, i shivered from the fright with very uncontrollable fear. (this part is in dream)

(Wakes up) So 7 am SHARP (Sharp was d' scariest part), the hysterical me (fr. d' dream) came alive(awake) for a short while then i realize that it's all a dream.

Sometimes my dreams seem very consciously real to me. (Maybe it's due to too many '印星' in my bazi)

Lately my left eye twitch ~ I'm wondering if it's bliss or blast?

It was love at first sight...



Abt one year ++ back, d' 1st time I saw the Q7, I had laid my eyes on it. (Without knowing d' $) I said I like it very much.

Today again I caught my dream car on road. The suave & cool AUDI Q7.
& it is still ever so astonishing gigantically muscular yet styled with elegance. (It shines so brillantly in my *eyes*)

Did a search on Wiki & found abt d' lawsuit between Nissan & Audi on the letter 'Q'. Tat's my fav. letter (ooPs. ya, so called sharoning Q. / QQ)

~ so, Audi is only allowed a Q-prefix for two models Q5 & Q7.

If you manage to get the usual Starhub Top-Up card at the lowest price of $15.00. I can tell you that over the next few days, u'll be expecting $15.30 +uP.

Today ~ cost of starhub card rises. Is it due to yet another inflation effect? (Well, i'm too sure sure abt that.) Perhaps some career like teaching is not affected?

Facing huge global warming & terrorism (Mas Selamat Bin Kastari) issue, we have more to worry. Prices of all commodities rises, and currency of Singapore is getting stronger.

Everyone's complaining: Everything also go up! $$$Income$$$, when will u go UP too?!?!

How much have things rises?

According to my informant aka ah gong:

Cooking oil ~ increases by $1.xx to $2.00 for a 3 litre bottle. (increase the most)

Rice ~ increases by $2

noodles ~ last time: $1.20 per kg, now $1.60!

salty egg ~ usual price: 3 for $1, now: 4 for $1.85

small packet of bee tai bak ~ $1.20

Even vegetable $ increases! These are just some examples of food hike, the basic essential u need to fill your stomach with. If u choose to eat potato or etc..., they might increase too!

So men, do give your wife more market-shopping $ & pocket $. Housewife expenses go up as well!

My reliable informant says: the auntie who sells (ba4 zhang3 in hokkien) meat dumplings said: "if the price of oil and rice increase somemore, then cannot sell lo, who wants to eat those dumplings at $2-$3 each." (dumplings are made of rice & oil)

I told my informant in hokkien: ya, that's true!

Who wants to eat when it cost more than the price of 'ba zhang' during dumpling festival. I think I'll pay only max. $1.50 for those dumpling, more than $2 for the dumpling is too costly in my dictionary.

Uncle ben, my neighbour retailer told me: "the porridge that cost $3 is now $5, with the same ingredient in it."

So, it'll become a fact that sooner or later, we're all gonna become 'mei nu' (pretty lady) or maybe 'mei nan' (pretty gent), slimmer like me who eats twice a day, and have a bar of chocolate as dessert only. (Oh, what a joke)

Even the face fats are reduced from 14cm to 13cm [measured from middle of nostril to beneath s' ear]

Ok, back to the topic. From information obtain from supplier & these few days observation, those in the retail market might have raise both hands and legs and agree with me that business has quieten this month. 1st of April, some of us get $ from government, yet there's no big spending as compared to d' last 2 years result. (I think they take d' $ to pay off debts/stock investment/ang pow $)

Me: The next GST payout is April 30th. Each of us will get $200-$300. Combine with pay day income,
U: please spend $ on May 1 which is labour day aka your off days, as well as all other normal days.

So, I hope to encourage people to spend more lo. Yes, i know, in times like this, we're all saving for the rainy day. I am also, but if no one spend, boss how to make $. Boss don't make $, how to increase income and commission, maybe increase retrenchment, more like it.

Tears ~ please cry and eliminate salt

Why do people have tears? & Where do tears come from? Does your pet cry?



Tears = salty. I remember 9 years back someone told me not to cry anymore, or else the pillow I sleep on will turn salty.

We may have guess that tears come from blood (like blood pumping d' heart), form with salt substance in our body (not too much salt intake thou' or else we'll have high blood pressure & say byebye), and disposes toxic. Is it? (Well, that's for you to read and for me to find out.)

Beside benefiting from crying to relieve emotional distress, I do know that tears fight against bacteria. I have this these experiences to share.

Since the age of 19, the time I got d' fake chicken pox on me, I begin having acne problems every now & then :( till now. Everytime I cry overwhelmingly, the next day I will realize that the acne will clear up pretty much, not that it disappeared but is much relieved.

Wow, that's amazing, I wonder if my urine & saliva can cure something else too, perhaps beautify my skin? Eeeks! (But, that's really true, it's gd for acne (or to me), I swear! I'm a powerful crybaby!)

We cry from grief, laughter, yawning, excitement, anger, onions or acting etc etc. Anecdotal reports have shown that animals do shed tears.

...so does pig, cats, kangaroos, birds and frog, and reptile maybe. And I think wolf always cry, that's why we have wolfcry! As sea animals secrete a watery mucus to protect their eyes from sea water, the overflow of tears due to lack of a drainage system may have been misconstrued as emotional tears, so maybe they cry as well.

I think at times crying aloud is healthy, and is better than crying silently, and helps to cure acne. (So rhyme!). Perhaps we should take some time off to cry and vent our frustrations and sorrow. Oh yes, and to nurture our emotions, we will need to find an appropriate place to do it as well.

Where's the appropriate place?

Under the blanket? On the floor? In the toilet? By the sea? His/her house downstairs? WHateVer!

But we should still take care of our eyes, since we like to wear contact lenses.



Many in this modern age wear lenses, but do you know what it blocks? It blocks our tear gland (that's why our eyes will dry), and obstruct oxygen from entering our eye. Infection and disappropriate handling may cause blindness! Nevertheless, for d' fun of green, blue, grey, brown & beauty, who knows how long more my life is gonna be.

But oriental eyes I must say is still very beautiful and authentic. I observe that plenty of China people has light brown eyes, quite surprising as I thought we're all suppose to be dark-brown to near-black.

Off I go for the love of Feng Shui ...

Well, last month I did not go to Bali, Bintan or Langkawi for holiday, I've got an itinerary that is far more interesting to me. I am very focus into this passion of mine, and luckily this trip I made was a fruitful one, and making friends with nice people of different nationality.

I brought these items with me: Bring coloured pens, highlighter, booklet, ruler, luo pan, digicam, hp, $, credit card, hair care/clip, shoe, spec, socks, concealer, foundation, eyebrow pencil, mosturiser, toner, cotton bud, acne cream, whitener, lotion, pyjamas, baobao (my baby pillow), jeans, t-shirt, jacket, undergarment, watch, psp, alarm clock, charger, sweet, passport.

Can you guess which of one of these important items that I left out?

Hint: it very absurd to leave this item out during trips oversea, and it feels real bad without it.

It was a straight and short 5 hours ride from S'pore to KL, so instead of travelling on airplane, I chose a bus ride. Yeah, I didn't have $$$ for a business class air ride to enjoy the luxurious treatment like Miss Dawn, but I could afford a $65.00 on my own for a business class bus ride. Sounds good!



On the bus, we were served by an indian waiter who is from Indonesia, and speaks English, Malay and Japanese. I was alone, so I took the single seater seat at the left side of the bus.

Five hours past and I reached my destination, Mid Valley. A huge shopping center divided into 3 courts, south, center and i think north. There's carrefour, metrojaya, and many many other shops. It's like a combo of 3 shopping centre. U like coffee ~ u get dome, starbuck, coffee bean. Food like yoshinoya, kfc, mac, teppanyaki, secret recipe, and a couple of food courts around. Entertainment such as bowling centre, movies, etc. Very complete.



Okay, quite a cosy room for a single person at RM180, SGD80. Do you think I sleep with the lights on or off?



:) I sleep with the lights off. ( =D nothing to be proud of, I know)

And yes, I arrived tired lah. No mood to shop as well. The 1st place upon arrival is dragging my stuff and before checking in to the hotel, I went to the money changer. Yes, u can guess what happen lo, I didn't bring the most important item, the CREDIT CARD! I'm not rich, but that is the one thing we cannot live without oversea, not for shopping in the very least, but carrying around for emergency cases.

Yup, I checked all my stuff and the credit card before leaving, but I was choosing & deciding which 1 to bring. Not that I can't decide then didn't bring, but forgot to bring.

Luckily & very luckily I did not forget to bring passport. No lah, just very luckily I had sufficient $ with me to carry around. I realize it on the bus & kept counting & counting how much I would be left after converting sg $ to rm $. So very frantic!

Somemore, have to pay for the deposit stay, what a sweat...

The shopping at mid valley has got wof shop, a large one as compared to ours in vivo city. I must say lilian has got very good marketing technique, and probably a person with good destiny.

When will I the poor scholar, having invested heavily these past years, have my time. Hey, I know when's my heyday you know, but it's still many years from now. In my 30's.

In the pet shop, I saw a very lovely cat, and wishes to bring it home.

The probability of thoughts is = 100%, yet the probability of action = 0%.

This blog is quite random, no day 1, day 2 all these. But, even I do carry around digicam, I can't take pics anytime I like. It's no excursion, but learning; inhaling knowledge and wisdom.

Went to a temple, I think in Chinese is called Tian Hou Gong for a charity dinner. Before that we were trying our luck with the divination lots with our question in mind, then sifu began depicting those hints.

Saw the statue of Fu Lu Shou aka prosperity/fortune, wealth /success, and longevity respectively. So just took a pic of it.

I think the charity dinner is dedicated to the funds of building a canteen in primary school. It was eye-opening and fun.

There were old songs sung by the donators, by some local singer, drama performanance and change face ("bian lian" in Chinese).

Had a couple of beers, and some good laughs. (A friend whose a healer called francis hit the beer with a metal kinda hypnotise thingy & says that it can energise the water, fellow friends said: "don't drink it, otherwise you will follow him home". Ha, in the end, I really didn't drink 'that' can of beer, and a day after he talk to me about a scientist named masaru imoto and about how water, tabacco or stuff like that can be energise and certain impact happens. This is very interesting, and recently I heard about the author again on the radio. I'll go buy this book, read it and introduce to everyone. Sounds like a darn gd book wor!)

This pretty house was a project for our learning.

I'm not there to take the pics of the interior, it was very rush and challenging during the practical so pic is not important than those lessons. But anyway the feng shui for the house is not good.

Had a memorable lunch that I could never forget at this place, opps...forgot what it's called. Anyway, beautiful and secluded place. We pass by a temple, called the stone temple.

There was a very big stone beside the temple but I couldn't catch the stone pic.

The landform at this place is very good and beautiful as well. This is the place we dine. How romantic, classic & well, just very beautiful with great environment. Eating the freshest spicy fish is so unforgettable. (Even thou' it took a long time, it's very worth the wait) It was a Sunday I remember and the place is so packed even when it's so 'inside'.

This plant at the dining place looks like ? Some says its tomato. I'm not sure; is it???

I think this old hut makes a perfect place for ancient drama or 'green white snake'.

This shopping center is built by a feng shui master I heard. That was in period 7, now is period 8, the feng shui does not seem to be working well now, very quiet.

This is the main door entrance that we will measure to obtain the flying star chart of all the shop units there.

Nice roof.

But I wonder why is the shape sometimes round (metal), and sometimes very sharp (fire), sometimes wavy (water). So feng shui oriented, but does it helps?

What a sad day...

On the day of the b'day, few hours before it ends...the rain came thundering down.

Yup, presents were received, and blessings were given, but if such blessings could be turn into wishes. Oh-how-nice?

The rain shrink to a drizzle when mandy met me the next night, on april 8. Hugs and tears at the corner of eyes were greeted with wide smile. Mandy was with me chatting and refreshing new & old memories away at bugis, tucking ourselves into one & later another corner & talk for a good few hours, so long we never did...

Rain is settled and the world becomes peaceful once again.

Blogging at the struck of 12 midnight, I'm turning a year older. Saying goodbye to my old long-forgotten to post blog, I decided to start anew.

A new blog...A new life. (After so long?!?! `am i just awake^_^ - hello?)

It's never too late then never. Ever wondered if you were given an actual deadline to your life, how would u treasure it as to now? I always give excuses for many things, I always flare up easily, I always don't treasure things (oops...I do treasure memories & old stuff like cards & present people gave thou'), I mean treasuring more of the people around me, talk nicely even thou' I'm very easily easily frustrated.

So what cause my irritation? Honestly---------------------I DON'T KNOW, it's me! (I reckon)

I want a change & I want to live happier. Nothing causes my unhappiness except me, myself. And I don't know why, but I always give excuses. After one unhappiness I found & then gone, I would go for another. I AM MESSING UP MY OWN LIFE...

Blogging makes me feel good again, a good way to de-stress myself. I stopped for a reason last time since I realise that my words might actually influenced others & I gave up. But now, I want it back again. Real! Feel real! Blog real! Do what I want to do!

I just feel that I want a change, & I don't want to live die in regret.
