The Petrol ban (a state policy to prevent foreign registered vehicles from both Thailand and Singapore from purchasing petrol 50 km within borders) which was supposedly officially executed yesterday, Friday, May 30, was delayed.
It was reported the new policy of ban to be implemented to Northern Malaysia on Thai registered vehicles on 2nd of June, to further notice of JB borders on 9th of June, after assessment of monitoring effectiveness of ban.
However, foreign motorcyclist will be exempted from the ban.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As predicted, someone told me the ban wouldn't take effect.
Few days ago, while discussing, this person said the Malaysia government usually initate a ban or policy without specific plans or after-effect of any rules issued.
On the spur of certain happenings, they will not consider the side effects to the given new solutions they come up with.
As predicted by this person, the ban didn't take place.
Why?
B'cos the main purpose of the ban was to stop heavy consumption of diesel from Thai registered-vehicles.
&*
as a matter of fairness, it should apply to Singapore as well.
(((((THIS DOES NOT ONE STONE KILLS TWO BIRDS)))))
The target => Thai borders.
Victims => SG people WHO DRIVES:
1) All along, sg drivers benefitting from it.
2) 50km away from sg?
~ So this means, most people on business trip or gambling trip from KL/Genting will have to pump their oil 50km away from JB borders. (How Inconvenient!)
3) Up from the exploding rising petrol price in Singapore!
~ If we were to go visiting in JB or anywhere in MY. Wasting MORE oil instead.
~ People staying near Woodland will not be able to go in & enjoy their 1/4 petrol fill.
~ People going to JB for shopping/makaning will not be able to enjoy their full tank back to SG aftering rounding in JB SPENDING $$$ on food, clothes, karaoke, movie,.....
4) Having paid RM$2.60/RM$2.80 in Malaysia custom
+
Wasting Petrol Driving from SG - JB
+
Money spend on Eating Lok Lok
+
Splurging on Mani & Pedi
+
Ready cash & credit to Jusco, Carrefour or Giant for shopping, food, & facial
+
Car Wash/Polish/Wax/Servicing
+
Going to Japanese restuarant to eat till you burst ala-carte high class buffet at lagi gd rate.
=
Ban from pumping a bit of petrol from them.
This has been a long-term 2 way plan, I think it's a give & take kinda thing.
IT will hurt their economy much more, SINCE
~ we can forget abt queuing up through the custom. SAVES TIME!
~ ditch our fav. lok lok & go BBQ in Sg. MORE FUN!
~ cheap car wash & servicing. Well, no choice then.
~ Shopping & Facial. Actually it ain't that cheap in JB too!
~ Etc, Etc, Etc
:) The above is just a demonstration of the economical pressure towards the JB state. Of cos, we can still enjoy all of the above without pumping that tad bit of petrol.
But seems to me, they'll have more to lose than gain if they were to execute it.
(Singaporean loves going to JB for many reasons, & drivers especially being the fact of conveniency & aplenty baggage areas. JB is flooded with plenty of SG cars.)
We'll see on June 9!

Serious Blogger's Weird Sleeping Disorder
Shit, I think I got temporary sleeping disorder, which has rarely to zero chances of me, the 'sleeping xxxxx' (fill x with whatever alphabetic value u deem fit) occuring it.
Alright, insomnia sounds unfamiliar to me, & has seldom visited me.
Not sleeping at this hour 2.03am is I know quite a common scene. Some others might still be counting 348 sheeps while on the bed now.
I think I sleep too early, at 10 pm. Today. Opps. Correction, just hours back, yesterday.
Maybe because I wasn't too tired but I tried to turn in.
I'm the sort who can sleep for hours and perhaps win a 'champion' trophy from sleeping competition.
Alright, back the track. I woke up at 00:55 when I looked at my handphone after hesitation of searching from the dark; my alarm/hp for approximately 5-10 mins.
While hesitating for the 5-10 mins:
~ I was very curious abt the time? ( hoping that the clock will tick quicker to break dawn)
After knowing the time. Me tried the easy pro. task for myself, sleep again!
(I can usually lie in bed during bedtime sometimes for abt half to one hour before I fall asleep. And these are the things having fun ($, blog, to-do-list, ambition, problems) in my brain while I'm nurturing myself to dreamland.
My brain's meeting starts when I'm lying in bed for sleep w/out distraction & ends when i've reached dreamland.)
Back again: I realized I had tossed & turned, & repeat tossed & turned, so I decided to dump my newly bought Dorma pillow (thick & high) to nothing, laying straight flat on the bed.
Wah lau, really couldn't sleep. ( -stupid should've go robinson & change the new pillow initially)
I decided to *Deng-Deng*
sort help from my 'bao bao'(hug hug) of 9 years, which sadly didn't work.
Last resort, I scanned through the darkness for the medium pillow (which I tot will be more comfy than the thick one).
Oops...couldn't find it on bed, ????? Where could it be?
*Hm, must be on the floor.
(Gently Slide out of the bed, walk round the bed, gazed hard through the dark, ar ha.... found it!)
Tried it!
Ouch, I think I need a softer one. Why it simply doesn't work today?
Gosh, so try my 07 x'mas pressie, Blue-Bill (named after someone)
Ya, it didn't work.
Ok, ok.....just let me think of something. Ahhhhhhh!!!!! I got it!
The super-comfy bolster bought at robinson.
Shit, just why does non of so many items on my bed work?
In case you are just wondering, it could not be the pillow, could be the bed or something else?
Actually, I'm just feeling very uncomfortable with the pillow I guess. I totally have no problems with my bed. Hey, my new 15" inch bed (half the price of a rolex watch) is more more comfy than any 5 stars hotel bed.
Oh, this part is really not bragging, seriously Sealy Euro Plush Babe bed, is far superior than any hotel bed.
+ got 800 thread counts bamboo-sewn stitch bedsheets to lay on, it was so soft & cool to laze in it, breeze on it, whatever, it was simply sleeping like a hush hush baby/queen/princess/dowager/royalty/zillionaire/angel.
Until I finally gave up. Conceiving to the fact that I must be very full.
Full of energy.
Full of sleep.
And, so I convert the power of fullness to blogging.
--(Typing till this sentence without uploading pictures yet: 2:35 am)
Alright, what a *YAWN* interesting post I've got here.
Just realize that halfway through the entry I had forgotten to check the temperature.
Perhaps, I'm warmed up to blog. I'll go on the aircon now & prepare to sleep.
Sometimes energy conservation doesn't work.
SEE= WHILE I SCRIMP $$$ OFF PAYING AIRCON ELECTRICITY BILLS, I SPENT $$$ ON ELECTRICITY TURNING ON MY LAPPIE, GOING TO TOILET FLUSHING WATER, OR Switching on Tv, Take a shower........Cooking..........blah blah blah..
Maybe I ate too much just now.
Or rather, FACE IT!
I'm ONE HELL OF an intensive blogger,
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Blog it! La la land or Li li land,
Whatever! Good nite. *Muack///////////////
I think I'm HOT!!!!!!!!!! (ps: d' temp is just nice now 3.03am. woooooooh!!!)

South Korea: Gd $$$ for cosmetic surgeons despite stiff competition

Just as in Singapore, the quest for good looks is fuelling a thriving and competitive business in other parts of the region. Our correspondents report on the state of aesthetic medicine in South Korea, Japan and Thailand.
Seoul - Aesthetic treatment is as big a business in South Korea as some of the customers who show up hoping to lose weight without losing a drop of sweat. The market is estimated to be worth 500 billion won (S$696 million).
In fact, almost every building in Seoul's upscale Apkujong shopping district has a cosmetic surgery clinic. These offer everything from fat-dissolving jabs and skin tightening to double eyelids and the removal of hair.
TV health programmes here tout high-frequency waves to fight flab as well the wonders of laser-beam dental treatment.
In a society that places a premium on good looks, the money to be made is good but the competition is also intense.
Unlike in Singapore, where beauty salons offer treatments such as wave frequency face- lifting and needle-free mesotherapy slimming treatments, beauticians here don't.
Government regulations have nothing to do with it, but rather competition from the many medical practitioners involved in the beauty business.
'I go to a beautician for spa treatment or nail art but I entrust my looks only to a plastic surgeon,' said Miss Kim Hyun Jung, 23, an undergraduate at Seoul National University.
Strong demand and good money has driven up the number of plastic surgeons from 600 in 2000 to the current 1,400.
Mr Lee Byeon Yeung, 24, a medical school undergraduate, explains the attraction: 'A plastic surgeon in private practice can easily earn up to 10 million won a month, more than twice what government hospitals pay new doctors.'
The 1,400 figure excludes doctors with no specialist training in plastic surgery but who are providing aesthetic treatment.
In South Korea, anyone with a basic medical degree can practise plastic surgery. Many general practitioners do so after going for short courses.
'Gynaecologists, eye specialists and general practitioners have asked me to give them tips on plastic surgery,' said Dr Kim Sung Byeon. The plastic surgeon estimates that there are at least 10 other less qualified medical practitioners within a 1km radius of his clinic at Apkujong.
The competition is such that there is little difference in the fees charged by the specialist and non-specialist doctors.
A Sunday Times check in Apkujong found that on average, a liposuction operation costs about 4 million won - twice the monthly salary of an urban worker - while breast enlargement will set a patient back by about 6 million won.
The flattening of fees has clearly miffed the specialists. Dr Kim complains that botched jobs by 'unqualified' doctors has given 'legitimate plastic surgeons' a bad name.
In a typical comeback from the other camp, a gynaecologist who practises plastic surgery a few doors away from Dr Kim's clinic has this to say: 'I am a doctor who upgraded my skills and widened my expertise to include aesthetic treatment. Who is to question my qualification to treat patients?'
What keeps doctors in line is the fear of losing their licences. 'We take a stern view of medical malpractices and expect doctors to uphold high ethical standards,' said a Health Ministry spokesman.
Over the past five years, however, not one has been struck off the rolls for mistakes in cosmetic surgery. Few complaints reach that point as parties usually reach private settlements.
But badly done procedures do occur.
In one case, a Korean victim even appeared on YouTube, displaying to the world the scars on her eyelid. She had wanted double eyelids, but now she is barely able to see through her half shut left eye.
Japan-China New Turn relations.
TOKYO - China had sort help from Japan to deliver earthquake relief aid in what would be the first significant military dispatch between the two countries since World War II, officials said Wednesday.
History of resentment from China
Japan invaded China and set up a puppet regime in Manchuria in 1932, then conquered larger areas of the country before being defeated by the Allies in 1945. Many Chinese still resent Japan for its military aggression at that time.
Since the war, Japan has sent only a small group of defense experts to China to dispose of chemical weapons abandoned by Japanese troops.
Closer-ties
Though postwar relations between China and Japan have been rocky, the two countries have grown closer in the past 18 months. Japan was the first foreign nation that China turned to for help after the May 12 quake.
Tokyo sent a 60-member civilian emergency rescue team days after the quake struck China's Sichuan province, followed by a medical team last week.
"As a neighbor, we are willing to do anything that would help them, and do as much as we can," Foreign Minister Masahiko Komura told reporters later Wednesday.

Superintendent of detention centre sacked over Mas Selamat’s escape
SINGAPORE: The superintendent of the Whitley Road Detention Centre has been sacked over security lapses that led to the escape of Jemaah Islamiyah detainee Mas Selamat Kastari on February 27. His deputy has been demoted, with a corresponding pay cut.
The two were the most senior officers in charge of the ground management of the detention centre, and were among six Internal Security Department (ISD) officers charged over the escape.
Deputy Prime Minister and Home Affairs Minister Wong Kan Seng disclosed this when he updated Parliament on the disciplinary action taken after Mas Selamat’s escape.
Mr Wong said: "These two officers have been held accountable for the lack of supervision over the subordinate officers implicated, which resulted in lapses that enabled Mas Selamat to escape from WRDC.
"The superintendent has also been held accountable for failing to take appropriate action on discovering that the ventilation window in the toilet at the Family Visitation Block was unsecured.
"He should have instructed the renovation contractor to install grilles on the ventilation window. It was a serious error on his part to saw off the handle of the window instead, in the mistaken belief that this was a sufficient security measure."
Two Gurkha officers were also charged and have been demoted after pleading guilty.
The Special Duty Operative handling the detainee’s family visit when the incident happened has also been sacked.
She had not observed due procedures in the accurate registration of clothes belonging to the detainee and those issued by the detention centre. This allowed Mas Selamat to put on more than one layer of clothes during his escape.
Letters of warning were served to three others — the Special Duty Operative’s supervisor, the Chief Warder as well as the Technical Officer responsible for the CCTV upgrading at the detention centre.
Responding to a question by MP for Ang Mo Kio GRC, Dr Lam Pin Min, Mr Wong said all the officers were given the opportunity to explain themselves before the Disciplinary Committee. They also have 30 days to appeal against the punishment meted out. So far, no one has done so.
The superintendent and his deputy have also been held accountable for the lack of supervision over the subordinate officers implicated in the escape.
Mr Wong said the ISD’s command director (or officer—in—charge) whom the superintendent reported to, has also been relieved of his duties on April 24.
Although the command director was neither directly nor indirectly linked to the lapses of specific officers down the line — and he was not at fault over the lapses — Mr Wong said: "He has a statutory function to ensure the smooth functioning of the WRDC. So in terms of institutional responsibility, as far as that role is concerned, I decided that I should find another person to do the job."
The chapter on Mas Selamat, who is still at large, is far from over.
Mr Wong added: "We’ve received no information from our foreign intelligence partners in the region that Mas Selamat has appeared on their shores. We have no information specifically on where he could be.
"But we cannot work on the assumption that he is no longer in Singapore. Therefore, we have to work on the assumption that he is still in Singapore and all the necessary border security measures ought to be in place."
So security at all checkpoints will remain tight.
Mr Wong said the morale of the ISD has taken a beating over the incident. However, they will learn from this setback and stay focused on safeguarding Singapore. — CNA

Royston Tan should cast me the next actress for his movie <<1028>>
Royston Tan, the famous Singapore Director who directed <<881>>, will be starring a new movie <<1028>>, with the latter's title formally changed to <<十二莲花>>.
Director Royston Tan will be challenging 5 songs for the movie. He mentioned he had grew up listening to the song of ''十二莲花''.
<<十二莲花>> is a part 2 sequel (not totally) from the popular movie <<881>>.
Read more of of the news here.
Starring Liu Ling Ling, Qi Yuwu,

<< 十二莲花>> main lead actress will be Mindee Ong, whose scheduled to finish filming end of this month.
<< 十二莲花>>!!!!!!! Which is why I want to proclaim!!!!
I also grew up listening to 十二莲花, which is very not appropriate for my age. And what's more your grandmother or great grandmother's times oldies like "雪梅思君" or newer ones like "走船歌", that probably all the under 30's have never heard b4.Firstly, to know all these poignant Hokkien song, usually u must be a Hokkien.
Secondly, old enuff lor', which I'm still not yet!
Just that I grew with my grandparents singing away Hokkien songs almost everyday.
I'm so good in Hokkien songs that I can translate most Mandarin words by reading it into Hokkien.
& I'm definitely so good that when I sing Hokkien song, your 'goose-bumps' will run away instead of standing up ;p
I also grew in a stage of puppets and Traditional Hokkien Opera Troupe. Playing around with touching the 'backside' of puppets, or watching string puppet shows, and even acted as a maid in the Troupe's with the head mistress dressing & dolling me up.
I was the one who sat by the side of the stage, watching in fascination & enjoying it, I've attended all shows so many times that I've even seen flying (wire-string attached) ones performed on stage.
I've slept under the stage where ppl tied fabric to make a cradle to sleep in. I've even been to forested area ones.
I even went to funerals where they sing the Hokkien Opera for the dead.
My love for Hokkien Opera is so deep that I think mostly non in Singapore my age is comparable. I watched Taiwanese Opera Serial where I cried and enjoyed over the music of 'tok tok chiang', learning ancient style of speaking & loving Taiwanese accent.
Watching those beautiful magnificent head jewelleries pinning onto their hair, watching them making-up, and watching them removing make-up with Johnson baby oil.
Gosh, I can just go on & on. This is the best part of my childhood. Sleeping on stage or watching my nanny playing 4-colour cards during nap-time.
My deep love for the Hokkien Opera Art grew for over 20 plus years of passion.
I guess I'm not out of topic. I think that makes me a suitable candidate ba'!
It's a sad thing that ppl now goes for 'Ge Tai' (歌台) rather than 'Ge Zai Xi' (歌仔戏).
The Hokkien art is diminishing. :(
The most famous Hokkien Opera Superstar in Taiwan, Yang Li Hua (台湾杨丽花歌仔戏).
(above: the one in Emperor suit)
Usually, the famous lead is a female but act as a male in the Opera, having their role played as Emperor, Scholar, Beggar or Deity. (Usually the male lead is gentlemanly, charming, smart, flirtatious or cheeky)
The story line is definitely very exciting like Bollywood movies. Some movies include famous one which you probably might heard before like 'Bao Qing Tian' (Justice Bao), and even 'Liang Shan Bo & Zhu Ying Tai' (the Chinese Romeo & Juliet) etc.
Yang Li Hua is used to be my fav. one, anyway she was the only one who was most famous back then, after that, my fav. one is the one (below) who look so 'handsome' & I really really like, but is a female la.
My favorite favourite female handsome superstar. I really don't understand why she's so charming.
Really like a man. hm, a handsome, charming & gentle one.
Don't cha' agree with me, that's probably u haven't watch the serial yet.
Anyway, it's a cultural art that not many would understand.
Probably some might even detest the nice melody which is music to my ears.
:) Nvm, I like.
Tell me, who can sing the <<十二莲花>> better than me?

It's not easy maintaining more than 1 blog
Oh dear, I'm contemplating on integrating my beautyblogbook into my on d' mind blog, cos I like the template I created more than this, and I've failed terribly to update my purely pure beauty.
I was wondering if I should carry on with 2 blogs or what?
Quite troublesome for me to log on & off & updates, where it seems easier to squeeze everything into a single blog.
Haizz...dunno what to do.
Hubby suggested I update my daily beauty & diet routine in it, which is indefinitely a v। gd suggestion.
hmmm,,,, maybe I'll write tomoro ba.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just hours ago, on the phone with dear, he encouraged me to go forth with my love for beauty.
So, I decided to keep my purely pure beauty blog at www.beautyblogbook.blogspot.com, continuing the journey of pursuing pure beauty.
I just updated it & will continue to update it with interesting findings in my life.
:) Life's great!
I'm losing my sight because of long hours on Internet
It's been ages since I last examined it, and I think I'm getting short-sighted after 20 plus years of my life.
Things that caused me to be short-sighted:
1) Consistent long hours on the net from 4-12 hours, sometimes without resting my eyes.
2) Getting closer & closer distance with the monitor screens.
How I know I'm getting short-sighted without having my eyes checked:
1) Letters on the screen gets a bit blur at times.
2) I'll inched my body closer to the screen over time.
3) Sometimes 1 & 2 applies when I'm reading a book.
What I'm flashing my eyes with:
1) Blogs
2) Nuffnang
3) Korean/Japanese/Taiwanese serial/drama/movies
4) You Tube
5) Emails
6) Wikipedia
7) Informative sites like Yahoo, Google
8) Photobuckets
9) Friendster, Facebook
10) Computer Software Programs, (Word, Excel, Illustrator etc)
Gosh, So many INTERESTING things are exposed to my eyes.
Blame the computer,
Blame the Internet,
Blame me couldn't start using Internet in my younger days....oh no
Oh no, the last sentence should be taken away, otherwise I might be wearing specs now.
I didn't have the pleasure to use a computer as my mum had strongly refused to buy me any.
I realized I had quite a bit of potential on computers.
I first learnt & use the computers in my sec school days, where Internet was just at the tip of popularizing.
When I first started using the Internet, I'm quick to learn after the first trial of showing me how to operate finding icons, login in, etc & stuffs like this.
When I started blogging my 1st blog years back. I learnt simple html.
My interest furthen to designing websites and stuffs like that.
I even went to learn Macromedia Flash for the sake of creating website, and manage to create cute simple moving gifs.
I really couldn't get off the Internet perhaps more than anything like TV etc.
If there is to be job that involves solely on sleeping, dreaming, beautifully-ing and online-ing, I think tat would be the perfect job for me. (Perhaps for many ;p)

Advertisement doesn't earn much, satisfaction does.
Checking back on my stats from where I had a regular audience of 300 over visitors a week, to the 1000 over visitors in a week. I had come a way, for me "satisfied enough to stop blogging", but never enough to earn $$$ from blogging.
I got a band 2 for my Nokia Music Story Ads last last week, and a band 1 for the sph search ads for this week, where visitors increased by 62.5%.
And this means that the more visitors u get,
DOES NOT MEAN the higher band it is.
Band 2: 300 over visitors

Band 1: 1000 over visitors?
NN had given to me a good platform to contest my own blogging & nurturing my child (blog) to greater heights.
It's already an unlimited band set.
If Band 22 is high for a person who gets 1000 over visitors a day, I supposed I had already drawn an imaginary Band 1,000 for myself.
This site is nothing in comparison to others. How shall I describe it?
Ahhh....should be this way la...it's giving birth to a child whom u'll love more than everyone, and letting it touches surrounding things.
Blogging is wasting time away.
Yet to me, it's like a consenting willingness I've devoted to this child, irregardless of it's existence & allowing it to suck on my blood.
Wait.... STOP!
I think I got a problem here.
Like I siao like that typing away to myself wor.
Too emo le.
It seems like I'm talking silently to myself while typing away, ha. I wonder if everybody did the same. "Type one word, repeat one word in your heart".
I supposed so?
Last time in secondary school, teacher give us 10 mins to write daily;
NOWADAYS, 10 mins to type, 10 mins to think, + 10 mins to upload photo, sometime 10 mins to edit photos.
This is taking abt a few % of time in my life.
Seems like 'bo hwa', and very 'lu gi', what do I gain le?
No one might know or discover this, but 90% of almost everything I write in are facts.
I guess My Life's too boring, and I'm finding something to kill.
And so happens, I'm killing time on blogging.
It's a pleasure to write, but sometimes I wonder if it's my audiences' pleasure to read.
Perhaps u could gather some inspirations or insights from my blog too?
Anyhow, I loves blogging!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sometimes it feels good to write on the go, typing the whole entry in one breathe. Really fun & shiok, more like typing what your heart meant in the first place.
I believe this is what u call relieving bad stress unknowingly.
Yah! Just enjoy blogging & boogie-ing with your heart! That's life!

Singapore ban porno website, YouPorn & RedTube
Have u seen the news in Yahoo?
SINGAPORE - Singapore has banned access to two pornographic websites in a "symbolic statement" of the country's societal values, its media regulator said on Friday.
The two sites, which the regulator declined to identify but local media named as YouPorn and RedTube, work in a similar fashion to popular video-sharing website YouTube. The two Web sites allow users to add and download sex videos.
"It should be noted that the hardcore pornographic videos posted on these sites are very easily accessible by the young as each video will start streaming for free once a user clicks on the related link," said Jason Hoong, an official from the Media Development Authority .
The sites, which were banned after the authorities received feedback from the public, are the latest additions to a list of 100 "mass impact objectionable" pornographic websites banned in Singapore.
Singapore, which disallows the possession, distribution and making of pornographic films, defends its action as necessary to protect the young.
Online responses to a local media report on the ban have been unfavorable, with users condemning it as unnecessarily moralistic.
"I will definitely surf the Internet by proxy from now on, to be defiant so as to preserve my rights," wrote one user.
(Reporting by Melanie Lee; Editing by Neil Chatterjee and Roger Crabb)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wow, I must say porn sites with nice & innovative names. Guess it'll be a hot hit in the market, no wonder so many unfavourable negative response were reacted.
Some people might hate me for this, but I actually agree upon the government's action. There are no doubt still porn site's around. But just look at those names, it'll be a big attraction & whoo-ha I guess if it's in sg, moreover those names are simply too easy to remember.
There must have been discussion about morality issues that concerned the young & serious consideration chipped in. And I think it's a beneficial step taken for the majority, rather than any pay-off advantages.

四川苦难, 辽宁女"幸灾乐祸" China girl who cursed Sichuan's earthquake victims to death is arrested!!! Part 2
The China girl from Liao Ning province whom I blogged about yesterday is suspected to be arrested by police at an Internet Cafe in Shen Yang province.
Some commoners having received the info, rushed to the scene, & a few snapshots were taken.
However, the girl was already brought to the police station, and the Internet Cafe was forced for a temporary closure.
A secret snapshot from the front door's view. The colour of the sofa matches exactly seen in the YouTube Video.
The investigation branch the girl was arrested to.
Not too sure how accurate this info was, but it was discussed in China myspace forum.

四川苦难, 辽宁女"幸灾乐祸" China girl on YouTube, cursed Sichuan's earthquake victims to death!!!
I have uploaded the video, and translated in English (below) for simple reading.
A China girl from Liao Ning, instead of showing sympathy to Sichuan's Earthquake victims ranted a video lasting 4 mins 40 secs, casting her antipathy towards the poor victims.
She said she couldn't describe the feelings as sympathy or happy but is "happy in disguise".
She claimed she had watched the news of Sichuan's earthquake ACCIDENTALLY as it was spread all over the news of those dead or injured bodies. She added that she had no choice not to watch the news as it was wide-spread all over when she switches on TV & internet. She does not think she's colour-blinded like us, and thinks that our eye cells visionary are clogged.
She sighed on why each of those victims yelled & asked for help, and said that those victims also couldn't be blamed totally due to their bad geographical location.
She mentioned that the quakes WERE NOT STRONG ENOUGH, and added; if the quakes were to worsen, the whole overturned city would be saved from rescue's troubling woes and from today's mourning or tomorrow's donation.
She also believed that 5 (month) 21 (day) 2008 (year), is such good date, that plenty of couples are getting hitched, yet this auspicious day had to be used for mourning.
She ranted that it's toying them to death for mourning on the good dates of 5/20 & 5/21, for a comparatively small sum of people death's, out of the wholesome of China's gigantic population.
She further added:" Was it those ppl born of natural beauty or which piece of meat on those ppl deserved it (the mourning/donation)?
IS IT THOSE WHO DONATE FOOD & MONEY HAVE NOTHING ELSE BETTER TO DO?
This vicious idiotic smug wretch continued: "why didn't the old lady rescued from under the trapped rubbles in 100 over hours not dead, IS SHE TRYING TO IMITATE MUMMY"?
WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF?
SERIOUSLY I DUNNO WHAT SHIT IS STUFFED IN HER BRAIN????
Really makes me darn furious while translating this piece of news..
She repeated in a stupid, ugly & digusting face after the victim's statement: "We saw civil defence group, we saw hope.", and added why the victims saw green land, they didn't saw hope. They could have jolly chewed on the grasses & nourished their bodies from dehydration.
She kept ranting on what each one of those are thinking? Usually when ppl saw civil defence they will say that those are lousy or lowly jobs or rag-&-bone ppl. She said those people are nothing but a bunch of trouble & their children borne roots of troubles too.
Summary of the other stuffs she ranted (in sequence):
~ What's with the donations here and there?
~ Earthquakes are nothing!
~ Sichuan, Beichuan, & Wenchuan are near assessible provinces, it's like 1 province to mention
~ Why the earth's got so much strength to quake, and quaked so many a 100 plus times?
~ Is it because Si Chuan province is too poor, so they (the Sichuan's victims) are there (Liao ning, I suppose) to pick rags?
~ Is it Sichuan province is too poor & is creating opportunity for $ donations?
Her good faith of advice to the victims: Can die early, better do so!

Many people have posted their absolute displeasure against her stupid & nonsense rubbish.
While many people like Singapore Actor, Qi Yi Wu (China root origin) is donating their prized & precious kept painting for charitable auctions, and Wife of Mao Zedong donated charitable life time savings; such people who's actually standing by NOT ONLY does no help, Although she obviously doesn't have a heart of gold, added salt to the wound on the pain of those loss loved.
She definitely does not deserve a respect for this!
She is definitely despise by me, a Chinese!
She who does not love her fellowman, will have her day!
It is sad to hear such news from the mouth of a Chinese!
Her dirty heart is in the stomach of a wretched dog!
If any of the ppl is thinking of ranting such piece of shitty news LIKE HER (heartless sympathy-eaten-by dog) for 'famous sake'. You will be despised too like the above 5 sentences.
We stand by and watch, if not support, the world might be refined without such heartless beast anyway.
SERIOUSLY, I don't think she's human. Only looks human-like, she's probably an EVIL devil or satan.
My instinct tells me not to cut my hair. The longer it grows, a top blogger earns it!
Ohhh.......this is an old lost-&-found pic of me (sorry face 'NG' cannot c!) imitating the bryanboy's trademark (for fun lar!)
Almost every ''kaypoh'' blogger now knows some of the top blogger earners including Ms Xia Xue, Ms Dawn Yang, Ms Thy-dowager, Ms Princessa, and I believed the non-declared ones like Ms Nira Chan share some same trademark similarities; long hair + top blog earners

Anyway, I'm lao blogger as compared to em' & no one will come c me here when I blog aniwae, so I'm not dashed for hoping to be one of those blogger, so I will go a tad out of topic here, & share my long hair story okay?
So bloggees, please listen to me, & help me out with my hair problems.
Me => since young, always love love long hair, never a time had I grow a head of short hair, & every time I cut my hair, yes I will cry. Even my hairdresser :( to cut a tad bit of my hair.I did cut away some inches few months back, & strongly regretted it shortly, luckily my hair grow fast. About 1 cm/inch each month.
Now, the question is: I've got quite serious hair loss problem. Not sure if I'm suffering from malnutritious, stress, late sleep, bad hair condition, oily scalp + dry hair or what? I seriously intend to cut it short, a real cool & stylish short one.
:( What should I do? I really love my long hair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To keep or not to keep le?
I was thinking of consulting a doc? ANY gd ones for recommendations???
Maybe a short hair design might suit my face, or give me a new fresh look?
Note: My face is rounded one hor, not sharp sharp one. Cos I tink keep stylo-milo short hair should goes with small sharp features.
Any comments from hair-stylist? Pls help le!!!!

Make a difference to others' lives ~ Donate Blood
Everybody can donate $, food, medicine, clothing, toys, and all these.
But I doubt anyone can donate blood by $. (Although it might be true in rare cases or in other countries.)
I tried for a 1st blood donation when I was 19, remembering with my schoolmates, Rena & Fang Fang. However, was unable to donate due to my underweight.
I was there for a donation some few years ago for the 2nd time & was yet rejected again.
So, after those few years, since I ballooned, I managed to donate my first bag of blood last Oct.
And, my second blood donation yesterday.(My first was a pink bandage, there's yellow, purple etc)
Gosh, I know the thoughts of having going through needles seem a bit scary. Actually, I'm of cos, a little....... intimidated by that needle.
But the thoughts of those blood having to save those people that are actually in pain, and needing it desperately for saving their lives, is I think nothing in comparison to our 5-10 mins donation.
"Blood contains many life-saving components that can help to treat different illnesses and injuries. For many people, blood donors are their life-line."
Even an additional few tubes of blood were taken from me to test for HIV, or some other disease. Just imagine*, plenty of such blood might be needed for doctors' experimenting to develop antidotes for future victims.
My 2nd, (the design of the cute pump was changed) with the iron tablets replenishment.
Actual proceedings of blood donations:

2) Reach HSA or your preferred mobile blood drive locations,
Bloodbank@HSA is Located at:
Centre for Transfusion Medicine Health Sciences Authority (opposite Outram Park MRT Station) 11 Outram Road Singapore 169078
During blood donations:
~ Fill in form
~ Assessment checks by doctors
~ A tiny staple of blood straw sample at counter 5, (ring the bell for assistance, if no one is around)
~ Seated, confirmed particulars, select arm to donate (usually same arm), cleaned & given injection of anaesthetic, ready for blood donation
~ This procedure is absolutely painless & only takes abt 5 mins or less. Press the pump in your hand on the donating arm.
~ When beeping sound, it's done. Nurse will remove needle, you just have to thumb-hold tight to the arm's area, rest & awaiting for bandage.
After blood donation:
Complimentary tickets to ginger bar for a warm/cold cup of drink & grab a free snack.
Complimentary tickets for parking.
Drink plenty of fluid & eat nutritious food, blood will be replenish automatically in 72 hours.
(You may donate after every 3 months.)
SEE: Why keep blood in our body when we can save many people few times a year.
I'll be going this Oct again. Maybe we can organize a group blogger blood donation drive? :p
For more information on blood donation: Please visit http://www.hsa.gov.sg/.
Have you donated?

China's richest celebrity sparked criticism of his 'stingy' donations
Yao Ming, the 2.26-metre (seven-foot-six-inch) basketball player, has been at the top of the Forbes magazine list of richest Chinese celebrities for the past five years. Last year, he earned some 55 million dollars from basketball and sponsorship activities.
Yao, who's also known for his charity work, raising more than a million dollars for under-privileged Chinese children last year and devoting time and energy toward helping stage the 2007 Special Olympics in his home city of Shanghai was criticise for not donating enough of his enormous wealth back to his home country.
Yao, donated 500,000 yuan (70,000 dollars) to the China southwest Sichuan province's Earthquake.
Critics mentioned it was loose change to a man who makes more than that with one promotional photo shoot, though some supporters who were outnumbered by critics, agreed that contributions were a personal matter, and "whatever Yao gives is his business."
What do you think?

080808 北京奥运/四川地震 Beijing Olympic/Sichuan Earthquake prediction by famous poet
.
1 月25曰, 雪灾 = 天灾 Heaven Disaster
3 月14曰, 藏独 = 人祸 Man Disaster
5 月12曰, 地震 = 地灾 Earth Disaster
1 + 2 + 5 = 08
3 + 1 + 4 = 08
5 + 1 + 2 = 08
08年08月08曰 奥运会巧合?
08/08/08 Olympics coincidence?
地震发生那天正好是距08年08月08曰奥运会,
还差88天在加这个, 都是巧合!
Earthquake occurs 88 days prior to Olympics Game on 08/08/08,
plus the above triple 08 derival, it's a concidence!
真是佩服李白,
在唐朝就知道今年奥运, 地震了:
北暮苍山兰舟四京无霞清川奥年叶落缘分地,
运水微漾人却震.
Really admire Tang Dynasty famous poet, Li Bai, for his prediction of Earthquake in this year's Olympics.
前四个字---
北京奥运
后四个字---
四川地震
(His front poet lines, coined letters of Beijing Olympics, His forth poet lines, coined letters of Sichuan Earthquake.)
I have a real life in blog, which remains forever.
Niggardly amount of Nuffnang Adverts payout is nothing in my eyes.
Pls finish reading my heartfelt-emo at the bottom:
I got notification of first ads from Nuffnang in my 14th day with them.
(My 31st in starting this new blog.)
Run the ads for a week, make some dollar$.
& running my 2nd ads after the 1st.
This amount of $$$ is no attention to me.
The advertisers might have just happened to need plenty of bloggers' blog to advertise on.
I could give away the $$$ from what I've blog hard in exchange for......you'll read further below.
Only thing is Seriously, the satisfaction is indeed much more tremendous & intense.
Getting more & more ads, to blog to more & more people, is already a real deal sealed, with the exception that I've yet to make more blogger friends, with the Nuffnang network.
Me -> Blogging for money. It's not an amount of $$$ I would even strive hard for.
Get a real endorsement deal, I might love to work on that!
I love going ard NN to view others' works and latest news/events, or checking around emails for new ads, I must say this is probably my only favourite hobby that doesn't cost me. More or less, it had rather nourished me with lotsa info & connection with the enviro's happenings.
Blogging has provided me with a space of my own to express myself, relax myself, throw myself, be myself or mask myself.
B'cos I'm a VERY 'kaypoh' & nonsensical person. I'm in the blogosphere.
Many people u met might have said the same thing like I do,
but in my bottom-most heart, this is a book that carries infinite pages of my memories, it becomes history when I look back, and I want to remember all my memories; my laughter, my sorrow, my anger, my ridiculous complains, my journey of life, my endless love, my friends, my people, my everything.......
So, this is where my blog stands in my heart, making money out of it is a bonus in history of my blog too:
~ Passion, b'cos I absolutely love blogging,
~ Loves people to know the existence of one human being, which is me,
~ Loves tracing up stories that I've told people I've known a dozen times to the public who doesn't know me.
~ Loves people to know me or meet me as a blogger when I'm breathing lively & remember me as when I'm sleeping peacefully.
~ Loves, when I look at my blog, I'll smile at my stupidity & my outright honesty,
~ Loves to look back lost memories in my golden age,
~ Loves showing to my future grandchild, what a grandmother she had been,
~ Loves to see my life of diary blog encrypt in the WWW, grows old & dies with me, still leaving behind eternity memories.
And that is already more precious than any amount of money that I can or will make from blogging.
Because this blog diary is especially built for me. I treasure it very much.

The VIOLENT BULLYING LIFT in my HDB
While some HDB door lifts, this particular one I encountered is shutting like it's hurrying for the next blessed reincarnation. Wah lau, like that is very dangerous u know?
So, should the philosophy be this way:
1-2 rooms HDB door lifts ~ Slow
3-4 rooms HDB door lifts ~ Normal
5 rooms HDB door lifts ~ Fast
Exec HDB door lifts ~ EXTREMELY fast
Is it b'cos more old people stay in 1-2 rooms flat = gets the privilege of enjoying door shutting & slow waiting at their pace.
&
Those bigger HDB room flats got more yuppies, or middle age adults staying in it, so the door lifts are built according to their pace?
I dunno, but I know not all the old folks stay in old folks home.
You know how carrying heavy loads of items on a trolley, worrying & handling on the heavy items is one problem, the next problem,
THE DOOR LIFTS DON'T LIKE TO WAIT FOR YOU & SAY BYE BYE LAH, b'cos you are slow.
SO What happens?
When trying to attempt to stop lift door from closing in a jiffy,
People will normally try to stop it by:
1) Pressing the lift's button; OR
2) Stop the door lifts from closing by inserting hands or legs (at risk) to touch the center piece of the lift's panel
SO, I DID.
This time using style no. 2.
Usually it works you see, I've got heavy loads on the trolley, so've got no time to hand/leg press d' lift's button,
But the lift just hates me, attempting to desert me, & violently intend to desert me in a horrendously murderous way by hewing my leg with blinded sympathy.
The picture below is an exampled action of the 'VIOLENT BULLYING LIFT'.
(The exampled shot taken above of the lift's door 'giaping'/'chopstick' my leg after the actual incident. It really shows no mercy in 'giaping' me lor. It persisted very much into opening the door until I press the lift's button. I really doubt if it is clam's reincarnation. Haizz.......To think I actually sacrificed my leg to test the intensity of its closure. And it indeed is a 'VIOLENT LIFT')
Luckily, the shrewd me sense the immediate danger & totally apprehend its evil thoughts (after knowing this Mr. lift for quite sometime),
I quickly pulled back my legs, and appoint the lift to apologize by giving it a good kick, and pressing the buttons on every floor levels to make it work harder, after I take my leave. HAHAHAHAHHAHAH.
I am the one who has the last laugh.
I'm not one who u can easily joke & offence with.
Violent bullying lifts?
Hehhhh........I have my ways!
* Clap my hands up-and-down showing my woman prowess, whistling the song of 'victory by me'.
;p
Too bad, some old folks that are staying in those blks are still facing the violent lifts, some have confessed to me their fears & complained to me the bullying acts ---but what can I do? - Blog lor!
Tampines Ikea ~ Where's the human?
Went to Tampines Ikea with Zy & Ht.
Surprisely met my best girlfriend, Joyce & her family.
Next, met our friendly ex retail neighbour auntie. (Time flies, should be about a year ago since I last met her. )
Is it supposed to be we'll happen to meet many ppl in Tampines Ikea? If tat's d' case must go shopping there more frequently.
I don't know, but I seldom chanced upon friends outside, or perhaps due to my introverted nature, I seldom see human.
Come to think of it, actually quite sad from 100 plus friends I know, only keep in constant contact with a few?
Why is this so?
Is it Singaporean not friendly?
What is friends & how to define it? Maybe ignore those not-so-good ones & keep d' close or good ones by your side is sufficient already?
I used to think that since primary -> secondary -> diploma/U-> working.
The number of friends will increase & increase.
So, I'm wrong. It's actually getting lesser, & this is something sad to sigh about.
Anyway, I spent $52.80 on purchasing some red & black items to hide/hang my stuff & bought a red rug.
Don't dare to buy too much stuff for the home, worried that concept might change after (unconfirmed) reno. Don't wanna waste too much $$$ in fact.
Gotta pack my stuff & go early to lala-land.
Bye.
Oh, and erm.........Happy Vesak Day :)

How to describe love? How touching is your Premium Love?
Some vows promise to care & protect partners for life;
Some vows turn into an array of empty promises & lies.
Tipping on d' fine boundaries in marriage of graves, it:
~ kills one's freedom,
~ trials one's patience,
~ accomodates one's habits,
~ matures one's thinking
I probably correspond to 90% of the above statement.
To Love is Easy,
To Accomodate is Arduous.
Some in their decade-long relationships are shaken by an existing 3rd party:
~ Money
~ Character
~ Another Human Being
~ Abuse
~ What else?
Everybody knows a relationship could fallen out anytime; from a day or a month, a year or even 10 years long.
A marriage could be broken too.
While some marriages are like pebbles;
any small kicks would have change the situation & threw it afar;
Some marriages are like mountains;
you can't shaken it with any tremendous amount of effort, cos' it stand strong.
Love is blind, and people fall for it times & again, for the same trap, on the same kind of person, for the love that is fragile & sensitive to emotions, speech, touch, sympathy.
How magical is your love?
Love to lover, friends, family, mentor.
Bitter-sweet,
Spicy-sweet,
Sour-sweet,
Salty-sweet
Share with me?

((((I would love to publish your romantic stories.))))
How would I describe love?
Love is indescribably extraordinary;
it's proven uncontrollably selfish.
Love begets sincere hate;
in a passing way, so cleverly fades.
Miles of Love never jade;
in a companion journey of faith.
Love is why;
is cradle of magic create.

Feng Shui on World's catastrophe 2008, Myanmar & China Sichuan. It was predicted!
.
Major natural disasters befall our planet in year 2008. More of it can actually be explained in Feng Shui's point of view.

There's a prediction of more earthquake happenings this year.
Where:
戊(Wu) earth over
子(Zi) water (Rat, the ruling year),
depicts strong water underneath the earth,
According to the five elemental cycle of destruction, Earth which is supposed to control water, in this case could not overcome the strong water, depicting more water disaster such as flood or tsunami in 2008, especially after the 2nd half of the year.
In image & imagination, strong water movement beneath shaken the earth above; illustrate forecast of earthquakes.
Beijing's Olympic. Is it affected?
In year 2007, Master Tan Koon Yong & Master Derek Walters have predicted according to astrology & stars movement that somewhere in China there'll be disaster. Master Tan Khoon Yong boldly narrowed his affirmations down to Beijing, included as a possibility.
However on the news, it was reported that the Earth's continental plate in Sichuan is departed from the plates on the land of Beijing, and Beijing would not be affected by the earthquake.
Nonetheless, hopefully the Beijing Olympics will go well in success. There will be an even bigger audience in June, yet consideration of human's life is at stake.

Shed 3 kgs in 2 weeks, cleared all acne + no plastic surgery for me
Boys & Girls, Dudes & Babes, Gents & Ladies =============>
Especially the guys, if you don't feel like reading it, sorry..... (I know most guys distaste vain pot's analogy)
.......but still I'll need to continue!
I'm going to lose a solid 5 kgs, or 2 inches off my waist, 2 cm off my arms, some inches off my thighs & 1 cm off my chubby face & most of all, give a final tolerance & say goodbye to No.1 hateful acne. I want to be where I am 10 years ago. (smiling slyly daydreaming away*)
It has been very difficult for me to lose those weights, and shed those fats, ever since I'm no longer the little teenager girl I am. Constantly craving for food +++ mani mani snacks & mani mani titbits + lower metabolism rate is killing my outer appearance.
I want feasible & realistic slimming plans. Not skinny to bones & no surgery. Or $$$ wasting on liposuction/diet pills.
He Lost 20 kg in 29 days!

This person's blog gave me the confidence to do so. He's amazing. It may be a mere 5 kgs to you, but to me. It is really difficult.
A before & after picture?
You bet. I've gotten it ready. Wait till 1st June mah. Still 14 days away. Dunno if I'll succeed or fail (again) this time.
Watch this Korean Plastic Surgery Video on its first episode.
WISH ME SUCCESS!

Caught for stealing, who didn't steal before? ~ I'm so pissed off
Have you ever been accused of stealing things? Yelling for innocence yet security guards wouldn't believe you and insisted on reporting to police on your so-called 'innocent deluding lies'! Or how about insisting on checking your bags when the sensor alarm at the store's exit go haywire?
Alright, none of the sort happened on me, sorry to those store owner's on their losses in the making of hand-itch stealing, but sometimes some semi-blind crime busters caught the wrong person & some even made those victims look apologetic in a silly weird manner.
I totally agree that we can't be lax on crime but we have to get the right person to catch in the first place, right?
For example, I heard on radio that an old lady/man caught stealing was to pose with his/her loot, an onion/leek and took pictures with it. Perhaps there are others who did comes up with more innovative ideas unheard of.
WHO DIDN't STEAL BEFORE?
Okay, I know, there are really ppl who have never stolen anything.
Don't tell me you never steal love? =====anyway, this is not the point.
I confessed: I did steal, but that was in the past. Ignorance juvenile should be pardoned off when they've learnt their wrongdoings. I stole from home (grandparents), from the piggybank that contained those shiny coins for me to buy candys* (candys* = superficial lie = should be for other purposes).
Alright, this post is to declare my inflicting anguish on my grandma caught for stealing at a supermarket. Someone who's illiterate, forgetful, and was pocketed with cash for the supermarket's shopping. Writing this whole damn story is levering up my resentment once again, feeling that the person should apologize back to my grandma instead of the sufferings that we had been through during the 'stealing fright'.
Some time back, about 2-3 yrs ago, I still remember that after my friend, mandy's encouragement finally persuaded me to go for a tv sorta audition, all dressed & dolled up to the max, only to receive a scaring phone call from my grandpa that my grandmother had went missing. Placing everything aside, we started the search, halted with fear of imaginations on fatal accidents etc etc.
The feeling is insanely shitty.
ARRESTING THE SILENT VICTIM, A GRANNY WHOSE ABOUT 70 YEARS OLD
An old woman who's about 70 years old, going to the supermarket as usual for grocery purchases were caught exiting another entrance with the whole lots of food without paying. This shitty place have got a main entrance with counters & cashier & the back entrance/exit with no sensor or appropriate door.Firstly, the design of this supermarket is lousy & causes unneccessary innocent crimes.
Secondly, they caught my grandma at the exit, which means they were probably on standby & whoever goes out from there will be (mis)judged as thief.
Thirdly, while some people conduct investigation, some others inform their family members, but this idiot person called the police & my grandma was brought to the neighbourhood police station. My granny, someone who couldn't express & explain herself well, someone who needs to press the button so many times to make a phone call go through, someone who have bad memory of where she placed her keys/phones/etc. was away from her panicked family without a single phone call.
After we knew that she was in the police station, we quickly rushed there. When I finally saw my granny, I couldn't contain the extreme sadness aching in my heart. First time seeing my granny handcuffed sitting down there with her quiet expression looking at me, I felt helpless, blamed, and sad.
We bailed her, and upon reaching home, I screamed & cried. Why she had to steal? I gave her money and why such things happened, was it not enough, why she had to do that, why she didn't pay? & why? Why? why? I keep repeating & repeating my questions.
That was the first time I was highly invigorated, filled with so much anger that my hands & legs went numb & blood gushing seemly towards my head, like I'm ready to burst. I'm not too sure if this is what you called high blood pressure or symptoms of getting a destructive failing body.
After getting to the depth of the whole thingy, it's was all a fuking stupid mistake to be caught. The cctv should have clearly shown my granny's unintended movement, and they should have made a proper check if she had carried money to pay for the grocery.
NO CHANCE GIVEN?, this kind of damn ppl should NOT be given a second chance if they made mistake too.
About 1 or 2 weeks later after the incident, my granny reported back to the police station. And she was discharged off her offence, but was given a warning not to do so again.
Obviously all the evidence was captured on the cctv, actions couldn't lie, they probably should get an experienced psychologist to scrutinize the truth of the theft.
The matter is let off like this, but my granny bears the blame.
I'm dissatisfied with the non-magnanimous actions of the management, and their stupid inappropriate supermarket layout.
To think my grandparents invested so much $$$ to their profits, and this is what they did to customers.
Oh come on, because they are old and couldn't defend themselves well, it doesn't make them a thief. In fact, it turns out that these crime busters are a bunch of unsympathetic villain who have no hint of appropriate righteous.
To date, my grandparents are still supporting this supermarket with their daily $20 - $100 grocery buys.
I feel sad for that.
I'm glad I blog / brought this out, and I almost did so in a radio discussion.
Pissed off!!!!!!!!!!!

A memento page for our pet ~ Beautiful Super Red Indo Dragon fish
This fish is gigantic for its age, dragon fish lovers will have love the beauty of its size, and body shape for such young age. A pricey fish to keep, but is invaluable to us, it's got very nice body shape, and is a gentle pet in our family as compared to all our previous fishes.
One early morn, on Apr 5, abt 10 plus am, when my hubby is back home, his heart shattered when he saw the fish, the fish was freshly dead, any rescue was to no avail. Any steps in a few hours earlier back home might have saved the fish. Probably this is what the Chinese belief's tt d' pet fish have overcome an obstacle on its owner's behalf from its own death.
This memento page I know will definitely induce its owner back to the pain on that day, however I still have to write as it's one precious pet that we loved & remembered. I used to be afraid of fish, but my husband love fishes a lot. Thereafter any pet fish he rears become sort of an attachment to me as well.
There was another pet fish that we loved very very much, and that was a luo han, the type of cute fish with protruding head & lucky no. on its body. But that fish of ours have got no lucky no. on the body, it was a gradual mixture of plain purple-bluish, it was big & beautiful. When it was a baby, we brought it back & it showed us somersault in the aquarium, and when my hubby tickled the fish, the fish will feel very shiok, floating body sideways & enjoyed every moment of it. It was really very lovable. I remembered the time when it died, we felt extreme grief.
We didn't know then we could mould image of our precious dead pet. But when our dragon fish died, my husband got to know people doing taxidermy (an art of preparing and preserving the skins of animals and of stuffing and mounting them in lifelike form.)
So, I would like to introduce anyone who love their dead pet very much & would like to preserve their precious pet in remembrance to find people who taxidermied their pet.
This is the picture of our Dragon fish when it was dead. Still very much like alive. Our young fish's body is gigantic for its young age, to find another piece like this one would have cost us at least 10 grand.

Craving for carving ~ Blogger vs Leather hobbyist
Gathering a group of leather-lover masters,
My friend Cody

What can a piece of leather turn into?
I've seen bags, keypouch, coinpouch, passport holder, handphone pouch, camera pouch, belt, billfold, etc it's very interesting to see & especially hold one in your hands made of unique design. How cool is that?
See this?:

My take on Stomp's Video Blog
The audiences of cos have got '睛福' & '耳福' to hear real, feel real, and see real from the star bloggers in Stomp instead of their usual writings on social & political ideology. Perhaps in future I should make the bloggees (people who read blog, yes first person invented by me a.k.a sharoning & not a second others) subscribe to my (future) podcast like mr brown, instead of the norm of traditional old-style blogging.
My personal feedback:
~ Eye Candy Visionary interaction (100/100)
1) If a picture speaks a thousand words, then I guess videos of the bloggers speaks all. Too bad, I ain't too sure if the video blog series will be on each week, as Starblog's page is newly revamped, and those video were taken in passing.
2) I didn't have d' chance or time to meet the star bloggers. Which in fact, d' very inquisitive me would really like to know how these 'public figures' carry themselves in character, behaviour, action, speech, dressing, make-up, etc etc in real life. And prying people like me might have cause any overly-conscious stars in lil anxiety.
3) Listening & watching is pleasant than reading every singular wording. Omg, if I ever had a goody good viewcam, I'll surely recite my scripts, be camera ready & blog it. This way it's faster. But, I'm skeptical if ppl still prefers on reading actual blog or viewing a video blog. Pictures vs video? Which is better?
Views on the Star bloggers after watching the video on self-intro?
1) Mr Dylan Tan ~ We are the same birds that flocks together. Hateful of silly drivers on road, straight-forward kinda person.
2) Mr Ju-Len ~ A lil cheeky, saucy & humourous. Knows when to keep & what to say.
3) Miss Egena Fu ~ Not much comments, she looks like the nice girl next door.
4) Miss Maia Lee ~ She has her own styles & beliefs, yet many of which I can't complement in my own dictionary. I found her request for fame overbearing & her imposing image a bad influence to teenagers, if it does. Anyway, I totally does not agree that way.
5) Miss Jamie Yeo ~ I like her blogs, pretty fascinating & yes, I like her too, for the way she is.
6) Miss Dawn Yang ~ Talk of the town everywhere, tabloids, mags, forums. Different peoples got different views. May I express mine on my blog? Here goes ~ Sorry my allegations may be biased, as I'll have never met her eye to eye before, except for one brief brush in Suntec city 2 & a half months back, I presume that she does have plastic surgery despite the non-concrete denial from her. Real or non real in personality (apart from the virtual world) ~ I guess we never will know.

An extraordinary wager of 10 years, it's better than vitamins!

Promises may be meant to be broken but a wager is liability ensured, so I have to quickly capture this moment, announce to the world and mark it down immediately in my blog for review 10 years later.
The Deadline: 09 May 2018 (10 years from now)
The wager: Who grows old faster?
The loser: Sponsor holiday trip to 7 countries in a month

How did the wager came about?
The man was going to Nature's Farm to buy vitamins, while chatting on the phone with the curious woman in the picture,
the woman asked: Buy what vitamins?
Man answered: Vitamins for anti-ageing.
The woman said: U buy vitamins also no use, b'cos u never apply sunblock. U see I apply sunblock so I will not aged faster than you. (Of cos' thinking that I'm a heavy chocolate-eater; d' anti-oxidant will surely work better on me)
So, the man said: Ok! How about we bet? BET on loser paying for holidays to 7 countries in a month.
The woman said: Huhahhh......., 1 country lah.
The man said: Y u scared? 7 countries better.
In thoughts for less than a min, the woman.....
AGREED (conceiving that she would have nothing much to lose from it, & that she would maintain her beauty for the 10 years)
So. The deal was sealed. The man suggested marking it down for (proof of) review 10 years later, which so happens to coincide exactly the woman's intention.

Who do you think will win the beauty fight?

The Great right or left brain test! Test it!
If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa. Most people, would see the dancer turning anti-clockwise though if you try to focus, you can notice a directional change.
Left Brain Functions:
~ uses logic
~ detail orientated
~ facts rule
~ words and languages
~ present and past
~ maths and science
~ knowing
~ acknowledges
~ order/pattern perception
~ knows object name
~ reality based
~ forms strategies
~ practical
~ play safe
Right Brain Functions:
~ uses feelings
~ "big picture" orientated
~ imagination rules
~ symbols and images
~ present and future
~ philosophy and religion
~ can "get it" (i.e. meaning)
~ believes
~ appreciates
~ spatal perception
~ know object function
~ fantasy based
~ present possibilities
~ impetuous
~ risk-taking
Honestly, I'm not too sure if I should suspect foul play on it, but I keep seeing the dancer spinning in clockwise direction & tat should makes me a right brained human.
To further confirm my confusion, I went to this link: Right or left brain quiz to solve my puzzle.
The END result:
You Are 25% Left Brained, 75% Right Brained |
![]() The left side of your brain controls verbal ability, attention to detail, and reasoning. Left brained people are good at communication and persuading others. If you're left brained, you are likely good at math and logic. Your left brain prefers dogs, reading, and quiet. The right side of your brain is all about creativity and flexibility. Daring and intuitive, right brained people see the world in their unique way. If you're right brained, you likely have a talent for creative writing and art. Your right brain prefers day dreaming, philosophy, and sports. |

My first failed entrepreneur business in S'pore
.
Ms Nanz Chong-Komo of $1.99 shop established her first 1.99 outlet in 1997. The big sprung in her success is well-known in the region for the former-model-turned-entrepreneur, receiving immense publicity from the media. Her business went bankrupt in year 2003 during the influential period of SARS. She continue her life with great courage and announced closure of the big brand. Thereafter, she expend her business life story as a case study and published a book sharing her failure as an established entrepreneur; she becomes a walking legend as an opportunist of motivational speaker.
Unlike Ms Nanz who have succeeded in accomplishing a successful branding in business. I have failed before I even started, and in my own blog, I'll share my own little part of the story.
When I was trying out as a property agent about 2 to 3 years back, one of my training mentor, Mr Colin Tan, who is also one of the best trainer that I have met, motivated sales people with sales grabbing techniques and motivational passion. Since his teaching, I've attended numerous seminars and motivational talks to gather new-found spirit that I've lost in work. One particular speaker, in all his astonishing speech throughout the seminar inspired me enough to walk out of the convention hall as a changed & motivated self.
This speaker is indeed a fantastic top speaker who can transform your mindset, and almost changed your entire life after you walk out of the paid seminar with his remarkable speech. I remembered the topic he spoke on transforming money out of thin air, about selling one item for a million dollar or 1 million items at a dollar each.
True enough, I walked out of the seminar doors closed behind me with a brave gutsy heart, brimming confidently with a million dollar smile of my million dollar ideas in my brain.
I remembered how I told my partner, who was my investor, petting his back telling him about this brilliant idea of making millions, and how the speaker's speech had finally moved my long hidden thoughts and dreams converting to reality with a wee bit of courage that he had given me. The idea of what the speaker said exactly matched my long-wished dreams come true of this business, a business that not many has indulged in, a business with less competition but big margins, a business with my big dreams and inspiration.
My flair for this niche business started when I was 17 years old. The time when I knew women had difficulties urinating in toilets with dirty bowls. At that time, me & a few friends who love squeezing in toilet cubicles to chat while peeing were all doing a half-standing & half-squatting posture in an abide to avoid touching the dirty toilet seat. We have even known friends who squat directly on toilet seats to pee, leaving behind shoe prints on seat covers. In fact, during my years of age 14, everytime I use the toilet to excrete waste matter in a public shopping center, I would lay toilet papers fully covered on the toilet bowls to protect my butt from touching the seat. This factual truth that many are still facing today has motivated me to build my dreams in the day my ability would come.
So, I knew of a product, biodegrable disposable paper toilet seat covers,
that does not clogged the toilet bowls, is good for hygiene, is widely use in other countries, and is protecting me from the bacteria on the seat. So I started planning & researching. Planning on my targeted audience, planning on the sample, the pricing, the everything that I need to know for this business. I researched on the product, surveyed unsatisfied toilet users opinion, and liaise with suppliers from oversea, making multiple phone calls & emails, importing sample to Singapore and tested it. Until I was sure, I imported the goods over to Singapore, first learning things like Letter of Credits and Bills of Lading for shipping over my half-container load of products. I sole-handedly brought in the product smoothly into my newly rented office cum warehouse in Macpherson two years ago.My flame of desire to succeed was strong, I privatized the company, GST registered it, and a build a website (http://www.myoron.com/). I initially approach Shangri-la and proposed to the purchasing manager about my products. I emailed country clubs, called shopping centers and paid visits to KK hospital & National Library for sponsoring of my products. Somehow, my enthusiasm withdrawn. I was doing everything alone, I felt helpless in some moments of time. I have never thought of giving up my dreams, but I feel I could not longer travel the route alone. There was no manpower and the initial breakthrough of sales were not created yet.
The idea of generalising an uplevel hygiene in Singapore standard shouldn't be too difficult a task, perhaps the cost involved plays a major role in company's budget issue. This could be the biggest obstruction I'm facing with other than finding the right authoritative person to speak with, and perhaps I've not done my utmost best in following up on each individual client, and the worst part is ignorance of the product with lack of advertisement fundings.
Schools, supermarket & pharmaceutical stores, clubs, restaurants, hospitals, petrol kiosks and future casinos and many others were still not approach yet. 1 & a half yrs have past, not pinning on any hopes of miracle that my product will be widely launched in the near future with skepticism from buildings and business owners, with many many departments & peoples to go through for meeting & explaining the wonder benefits of my disposable toilet seat covers.
Through marketing my products in handy-size packs
from the internet, I have no doubt received a number of positive responses from female consumers, who bought it for their children usage, many of whom are those staying in condomiums. Satisfaction from smile & thanks from customers have made my day through my postal & hand delivery services, it encourages me at times. But, success is still a long way with such diminutive pea-size customers, and not big brands client.Although I bear no hopes for its future, I really wish that it would be a successful product in our home country where we can share a cleaner toilet. This product is not well-advertised in Singapore although end-consumer would love to use it, especially in commercial places.
There is still two more months to go before I donate or export away my goods at a low low cost. In the meanwhile, I'm still sitting with cross fingers hoping for the best, which I know no miracle would appear with nothingness.
Perhaps within these two months, any kind souls or investors that have read my blog or love this product to be launched widely in the Singapore market could lend me a helping hand and support me. Or even, those who have the means & ambition of realizing my dreams on behalf of me, I'm willing to discuss my ideas and resources, to fulfill this successful dreams of mine or women or people who loves clean toilets out there.
I hope people in the internet, blogosphere, or news media will spread the words, your generosity is deeply appreciated. To help or sponsor or support me to fulfill the dreams of Singapore's cleaner toilets, my email: mysharoning@gmail.com
I have not failed terribly from this experience, but it's a mistake that I have pick up soon enough in my early stages of entrepreneur learning. Dreaming big, requires heavy sacrifices. I thanked for the failure to not committing myself into falling from greater heights I would acquire in the future.
We begets our learning from failure, as the stepping stone of mother.
Here, we sow our seeds of success from failure, the mother!

The dog.....without two legs
Honestly, my heart ached for those animals who have suffered from abuse or natural abnormalities. This is perhaps sympathy/pity/love expressed from human emotions. Be it an animal or human, some of us might have think/feel likewise.
The feelings on a crippled/disabled animal, especially ones that's residing on a brave front like the pics shown above, really cast our innermost emotions onto em'.
It reminds me of how fortunate we are in singapore complaining how expensive rice is while the majority of us can still afford to eat, yet some hungry ppl in other countries are unable to savour even a bowl of proper rice.
Our wastage is not right. We are still spendthrift s'porean ppl wasting food when we can't finish em' & polluting the environment with unnecessary airconditionings, waters and electricity when we are not using em'.
B'cos we have $, we spend, and perhaps in the time of fifty years to come, our planet will be in an even worse condition from the resultant of our actions.
One man's words & actions carries no power, but we really should save as much while we can!

I'm monitoring my site traffic secretly...& I've succeeded in 14 days!
.

oook, here goes: i tried to build a steady flow of traffic of xx unique ppl/aliens/animals A.S.A.P until day of eligibility to join Nuffnang. Slow but I've succeeded in 2 weeks time, b'cos I wanted minimum consistent result & not fluctuating figures of luck.
I'm still not revealing & is not setting up a tracking counter at the side yet. Of cos unless I got people begging me to do so. (digust*--> I know)
The figure is increasing & it's real satisfying thou' I do not know where most of the ppl come from, but if I'm happy I'll try my very best to go to a 'photo-shop' & take pictures daily for you to pin on your computer billboard.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Blogger's new scheduled future post!
.
How good is that, blogger?
Now I can create many many post, fixed a date & time for all my post, one for tomorrow, one the day after and so on. Spreading blogs over a couple of days IN THE FUTURE.
I like this idea!
Seems like saving time & effort, do all in a go & wait for it to post on auto-pilot mode. =D
Somehow it is very tedious to blog so many post. You might be getting a daily dose from here and it only takes you 5 mins or 10 mins to read a post. Yet to create one, is thumb cracking and brain racking alright!
NOW BLOGGER HAVE NO EXCUSES TO:
I GOT NO TIME TO BLOG!
cos u can now blog for the future.

This lame "HAPPY LABOUR DAY' with Nuffnangers
.
Oh hi, I tot saying 'Happy Labour Day' to everyone is justly normal, so it's titled 'lame'.
With Nuffnangers: This portion is reserved for senior nuffnang members, cos today is the 7th day of my joining nuffnang. I'm new bird here & do not know many ppl, so, the catchy title is to getting know more Nuffnang members in the blogosphere, celebrating a meaningful May Day beginning.
I heard there's abt 20,000 Nuffnangers. Knowing 10% of them would already be a joy, and ever there's a possibility of meeting 1% of them, tat would be joy over d' moon.
On the news:
Today is suppose to report on cheerful events & not solemn news yet it is reported that jobless rate is dipping in sg admist the gloomy hits on economy from the US & Europe.
Hopefully sg's economy will grow stronger & not falling into recession. Some ppl are spending $ like it's almost free at d' Robinson big sale, yet some biz owners are not meeting well their targeted profits in neighbourhood areas. Hey, don't scrimp on your GST credits okay, why so stingy? It's a chain effect alright, spend on others, so others will spend on you too.
Okay, enuff of d' econ's contingency plan, but still let's help to move Singapore's economy forward, after your off day today!
For the ppls who have 'labor' hard, this is for you:
